The Nitty Gritty

Last week I had the great honor of helping Isaac set up his classrooms. He will make such a fine teacher. He meets his students Sept. 2nd. Good luck babe! Here is the entrance to the music classroom for 7th and 8th graders. The wall by the door. Mr. Bickmore's working area. We're thinking a personal wall will look nice with posters of his favorite musicians behind the desk. This is the corner of the music classroom for his 7th and 8th graders. Here he is showcasing the stage and teaching area. Since his school is K-8 grades, the younger students will meet on the stage. Here is the bulletin board that the younger students will see when they enter the stage.

August 2nd was our 5th anniversary. Happy 5th anniversary to us! I love Isaac so much. He is the bestestest husband in the universe and will make one heck of a dad. He is so selfless and will do anything for me. When I first met Isaac, it didn't take long for me to realize he was the man for me. I'm so grateful I have him for eternity. We were talking about how much we've enjoyed the past 5 years together and are so excited to begin a new chapter in our lives when the baby comes in October. I look forward to the near future when I'll have my TWO favorite boys.

My sister in law Sophia threw me an unforgettable shower on Friday! Reality really set in for me when I was opening the gifts. I couldn't believe all that stuff was for MY baby! CRAZY!! I just can't wait to see him snug as a bug in all of his cute outfits. The food was INCREDIBLE. I've never seen so many clever apple treats in my life. I love apples so my mother-in-law made some scrumptious apple grilled cheese sandwiches, apple turnovers, cookies, and salads. The homemade limeade with a bit of lavender was the perfect beverage. Thanks everyone for coming and giving us prizes for our son.

Well our little boy is coming fast! Isaac and I can't believe my stomach is going to get even bigger before he comes. Oh Wow. (Deacon)
