Our friend Russ Payne (Tara's Dad) cross-stitched this for Will. Isn't it beautiful? He is amazing! He made one for our wedding too. The other night while I was making dinner Will and I were making noises at each other. At one point he didn't respond. I turned around and saw this. We have been dying for Will to fit into this outfit from his cousin Brittany and Aunt Karla and now he can! He loves his dad.

Isaac is in a singing group called Crimson 4 (They are all U of U graduates or currently attending). Each December they perform for several parties. It's a great side job and I think they're better than all the lame acapella groups like Voice Male and Eclipse. Here is a small taste of them.

Here is our dinner table at the adult Ward Christmas party on Saturday. My friend Trish did an excellent job setting it. Isaac was singing at another ward party so... William was my date! It was fun showing him off and trying to eat dessert with him in my lap. He ended up with only one drop of Hershey syrup and one speck of ice cream on his shirt. Today we went to Roy for my nephew Christian's baby blessing. Here he is laying beside Uncle Reid. It was so cute how the first thing Will did was grab his finger. We also went to Roy on Thanksgiving and I discovered that Will's got a fan club. My nieces and nephews from Idaho LOVE William. On Thanksgiving there was a lineup in their family on who was going to hold Will next. At one point Ethan was next and then Caitlin. When it was Ethan's turn he was playing on the computer so we asked "Ethan do you want Caitlin to take her turn now since you're playing your computer game?" He responded immediately with "...

Will had his 2 month checkup yesterday. Dr. Goodwin was very positive and said our baby is doing great! He weighs 11 pounds 5 ounces which means he has more than doubled his weight since birth. That was exciting for me to hear because I was so worried about his size when he was born. I'm happy to see chubby legs now instead of bony knees. He also had his vaccination shots which wasn't as bad as I had built up in my mind. He let out one loud wail and I only welled up with tears. He was a bit fussy last night so we gave him Tylenol (thanks Trish!) every four hours to help with the pain. He sure loves grape flavor! He sucks that dropper dry every time. One of the many things I knew I would miss about teaching was seeing a child's eyes light up when they understood a concept. But nothing compares to those moments when William smiles at me.

Hooray! We are back in the blog business. Here are some highlights from the past few weeks. Grandma gets the most frequent visits award! Will adores her and always smells so sweet like she does after her visits. We love you Grandma! Go Tigers! William had a package waiting for him when he arrived at home. It was these awesome outfits from his Grandparents at LSU. I was so excited when he fit into them! Will is trying so hard to laugh. He gets this giant smile, his face turns red and then he lets out a gurgle. So cute! Isaac is the cutest dad! Will loves to put his head on shoulders and especially loves it when Dad holds him that way. Check out the video of Will hearing Dad's made up tunes. Will has his 2 month checkup tomorrow.
