Little Boy
Tonight when I was putting William to bed, I held up the book "Little Boy" and asked him if he wanted me to read it. He said yes so I opened it up and silently read the brief messages on the inside cover. Messages like "You're going to be such a good mom!" and "Can't wait for the baby!" "Congrats!" This was the book that Sophie gave me at my baby shower when I was pregnant with Will 4 years ago, 8/1/08. She had the guests sign it. I couldn't believe that it was already 4 years ago that that happened. I recalled feeling so excited to begin my chapter as a mother. I was especially happy to have a boy. The book is about the things that are in a little boy's life and how important they are to him--a cardboard box, catching bugs, helping in the kitchen, building towers, playing in the sand, etc. We had fun viewing the pictures and talking about how William likes to do some of the same things like walk around with a bowl on his head p...
