Spring 2011

Check out those THUNDER THIGHS!! Believe it or not he just keeps getting fatter! My sister Kelly is gorgeous even after giving birth to her baby GIRL. Congratulations, Kelly! Will was into coloring in the fall, but has taken a huge interest in blocks this spring. Here he built Thomas going through the tunnel. Cute! Van was outgrowing everything so we bought him some new pjs- 12 mos size. Hopefully they will fit for a few months longer! Whenever we are in a checkout line or just somewhere that Van gets someone to look at him, he flashes this big smile and starts "talking." People are always commenting "What a happy baby!" I was unsuccessful in snapping a picture where they were both looking at the same time. Here they are at Grandma Garrett's on Easter Sunday. Van flinches just like Will! Ha ha! Yes, most of the eggs in that basket were put in there by Dad. I caught him sneaking Will another one! Good job, Team Bickmore! Will loved the egg ...

Best Brothers

I love that he made this sweet connection about his own baby brother. Growing up, I was so grateful to have my twin sister as my best friend. Of course we had our occasional disputes but overall we were inseparable. We relied on each other, looked after one another, laughed a lot together, and were glad we lived as ...

Underwear for a Day

Monday morning Will said "Mom I pooped. You change my diaper?" I thought "Ok if he is ASKING me to change his diaper, can't he wear underwear?" So after I changed his diaper I asked "Do you want to wear underwear?" expecting "No" as the response. Instead Will piped up with "Like Christian!" His cousin Chris uses the potty now and Will was obviously encouraged by that. So we put on the "Woody Buzz" underwear and I put on his ugliest pair of pants. We had already decided that morning to go to the Dinosaur storytime at the library so I proceeded with the day's plans with William in underwear. I was way paranoid and put all chores aside and kept my eyes glued on his pants waiting to see any signs of leaking. After 30 minutes of nothing and saying 100 times "Tell mommy when you need to go potty" I relaxed a bit. We went to the library and during storytime I ran Will to the bathroom three times convinced he neede...
